Bill Wiatrowski became Deputy Commissioner in 2015. He previously served as Associate Commissioner of the Office of Compensation and Working Conditions since 2005. Prior to that he was Assistant Commissioner for the BLS Occupational Safety and Health Statistics programs and held a number of staff and supervisory positions in the BLS pay and benefit programs.
Mr. Wiatrowski received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and the History of Art from Yale University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the George Washington University. He is the author of numerous articles on employee benefits, compensation, and occupational safety and health issues and speaks on these topics before a wide variety of audiences.
