2009 CE Public-Use Microdata

The 2009 public-use microdata (PUMD) were originally released to the public on October 5, 2010. One erratum was issued after the release. The zip files below contain the most recent version (December 15, 2010) of the 2009 PUMD, including addenda files.

About 2009 CE PUMD

The 2009 PUMD was the first year CE included paradata in the data files. Aside from this major addition, there were not many changes from the 2008 microdata. Some of the highlights and changes in the 2009 PUMD were:

    Brief description

    December 15, 2010

    Due to a processing error, several records in 2009Q3 were missing information regarding the 2009 rebate checks for social security recipients in the Interview MEMB file. This error affected 1,204 records and 6 variables. No expenditure or income estimates were affected by the missing information. (PDF).
