The green revenue categories are determined based on the percent of revenue from green goods and services reported by the establishment. If the percentage is greater than 0, but less than 100 percent, the employment from that establishment is assigned to the some green revenue category, while percentages of exactly 0 or 100 percent are assigned to the no green revenue and all green revenue categories, respectively.
Establishments that did not generate revenue were asked to provide the percentage of employment in place of revenue but are otherwise assigned in the same manner.
