Excel (XLS) Output format for BLS website data retrieval tools

Saving your query to an excel spreadsheet can be a rather simple task by following the instructions below:

  1. Retrieve your data using one of the many BLS data retrieval tools.
  2. Click on the ".xls" link near the top left-hand side of the output table.

    Download as an Excel file

  3. Click on the "Save" button.
