The preliminary count of fatal work injuries in the U.S. in 2010 was 4,547, about the same as the final total of 4,551 in 2009. Overall, fatal work injuries are down 22 percent since 2006. Fatal work injuries due to fires and explosions increased by 65% in 2010. More »
