If you are a U.S. citizen who can think creatively and develop ideas to enhance the organization, BLS is looking for you. Work products from employees at every level are essential to our success. We are looking for individuals with the following characteristics:

Economists

The minimum entry-level requirements for Economists are a bachelor’s degree that includes at least 21 hours in economics and 3 semester hours in statistics, accounting, or calculus.

Information Technology Specialists

The minimum entry-level requirements for Information Technology Specialists are a bachelor’s degree in information science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, operations research, or engineering, or 24 semester in computer-related work.

Mathematical Statisticians

The minimum entry-level requirements for Mathematical Statisticians are a bachelor’s degree that includes 24 semester hours in mathematics and statistics of which at least 12 semester hours must be in mathematics (calculus or advanced) and 6 semester hours must be in statistics.

In addition to the basic qualifications above, you must be a U.S. citizen
