In the January 2011 U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes news release, released February 15, 2011, the relative importance of the price index for import prices excluding food and fuels was incorrectly published in Table 1; the correct value is 70.969. The price index values and percent changes are correct. Relative importance measures the relative weight that an index’s percent change had in comparison to the percent change for all imports. The relative importance of the price indexes for imports excluding food and fuels; foods, feeds, and beverages; and fuels and lubricants should sum to 100.
