Compensation costs up 0.6% Sept 2015-Dec 2015 and up 2.0% over the year ending Dec

Compensation costs increased 0.6 percent for civilian workers, seasonally adjusted, from September 2015 to December 2015. Over the year, compensation rose 2.0 percent, wages and salaries are up 2.1 percent, and benefits rose 1.7 percent.

State and local government compensation costs average $44.66 per hour worked in Sept

Employer costs for state and local government workers averaged $28.45 per hour worked for wages and salaries and $16.21 for benefits in September 2015. State and local government health benefit costs averaged $5.20 per hour worked.
