Sell home furnishings such as china, glassware, floor coverings, furniture, linens, and other home accessories. Advise customer on type of furniture and characteristics that will complement other furnishings in customer's home by suggesting period styles, colors and woods. Discuss quality and utility of fabric and trimmings, finish and grain of wood, and method of construction with customer. Include workers who sell furnishings as carpets, silverware, draperies, etc.
