Install, service, and repair household gas and electric appliances and equipment such as washing machines, water heaters, refrigerators, meters, irons or vacuums. Disassemble appliances and examine parts for defects. Advise customer on use and care of appliance. May estimate cost of repair. May be designated Repairer, Service Technician, Mechanic, etc.
