H497 CAPTAINS AND OTHER OFFICERS, FISHING VESSELS
Captains—-Command fishing vessel crew engaged in catching fish and other marine life. Plot courses on navigation charts and compute positions. May contact buyer and make arrangements for sale of fish.

Mates—-Supervise and coordinate activities of crew aboard fishing vessel. May be required to hold license issued by U. S. Coast Guard. May stand watch, locate schools of fish, and examine fishing area.
