Example on how to fill-in a form

  1. For example, there are four Security Guards in your establishment. Three are full-time: one earns $46,000 per year, and two earn $52,000. One is part-time (20 hours a week) and earns $18,720 per year.
  2. For the full-time workers, write "1" in column E and "2" in column F.
  3. The hourly wage for part-time worker is the annual wage divided by the number of hours worked.
    1. 20 hrs x 52 weeks = 1040 hrs/yr
    2. $18,720/1040 hrs = $18/hr.
    3. Write "1" in column D.
  4. The total number of workers for the occupation (4) goes in column T.

  1. For example, there are 3 office clerks in your establishment. Two are full-time: one earns $24,000 per year, and one earns $36,000. One is part-time (working 20 hours a week) and earns $11,000 per year.
  2. For the full-time workers, use their annual wage: write "1" in Column C and "1" in Column D.
  3. The hourly wage for the part-time worker is the annual wage divided by the number of hours worked.
    1. 20 hrs x 52 weeks = 1040 hrs/yr
    2. $11,000/1040 hrs = $10.58/hr
    3. Write "1" in column B
  4. Add up the total number of workers for the occupation (3) and enter in Column T.
